I’m a failure at startups (so far!), and I'm mainly where I am today because of the family/race/gender/wealth I was born into, although I exaggerate to sound successful. But I do love life & find the entrepreneurial journey fun

About Me

I was rejected by +70 jobs senior year

Starting my first company was out of necessity, not choice. I applied to tons of consulting, banking, and tech jobs and was rejected by all of them. I graduated without a job lined up, moving back to my mom's house in Charleston, recovering from double knee surgery.

I've been fired a few times

My first main job (with a mid-sized travel startup) lasted 2.5 months before I was let go. I lied when I told friends + coworkers that I had quit to work on my own startup. And I probably would have been fired from google if I hadn't quit before then.
